About the Opportunity

Due to increased workload and expansion within their estimating department, Universal Industries is seeking both a Junior and Senior Estimator to join their growing team in Lloydminster.  The primary purpose of these roles is to analyze costs and prepare estimates on prospective mechanical construction projects.

Junior Estimator

  • To be successful in this role, you will have graduated from an engineering technology program or have an equivalent combination of technical training and experience. If you have experience with tanks, pressure vessels, and piping it will be a valuable asset.

Senior Estimator

  • You will have a Technical Diploma or Certificate in Engineering Technology, or an equivalent
    amount of years experience. The successful candidate will have
    several years oilfield related experience.

In addition, you will also have the ability to read and understand drawings and P&IDs. Having excellent organizational skills and strong written and oral communication skills is required. Ideally, you are proficient with Microsoft Office and are familiar with MS Projects.
